The CORE presents: 100 Days of Stampede Style.

2012 marks the 100^th anniversary of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth: The Calgary Stampede. The CORE, Calgary’s only downtown shopping centre, will once again be the destination for all things Stampede style, right in the heart of the action in downtown Calgary.

Over the next 100 days the CORE will be the Stampede fashion authority, showcasing contemporary and sophisticated western wear. All of this will lead up to the CORE’s annual Stampede Fashion Show on July 4. This year, the fashion show will be bigger than ever!

For your chance to win the $10,000 Ultimate Stampede Style Contest, head to the COREshopping Facebook page and upload a photo of yourself in your most contemporary, sophisticated Stampede style to our Contest tab. On June 18th, our panel of celebrity judges will choose the three finalists who uploaded the photo that best represents contemporary Stampede style. The public will vote for their favorite finalist, and the winner of the $10,000 grand prize package will be announced at our Stampede Fashion Show on July 4.

T’was The Night, the biggest private shopping event that Calgary has ever seen was a raging success!

This special event kicked-off Hollywood style, with Lainey Lui of LaineyGossip.com and ETalk on the red carpet and throngs of stylists, bloggers, fashionistas and shoppers swarming the many levels of the downtown shopping Mecca, The Core.

As the crowds entered the mall, they were met by music, food, and of course, a lot of shopping! Chantal Kreviazuk was there, as was her powerhouse voice and an endless sampling of holiday inspired drinks and treats to keep guests well fueled. Shoppers made their way to stores for the many promotions while fireworks exploded above the atrium.

T’was the Night... many a creature was stirring (though did not see a mouse)!
